Stored locally in this browser. Nothing is sent anywhere except your chosen AI endpoint when you press the ✦ buttons.
Drop in any time. Mood, what's going on, whether it ties to a thread.
These are the heavy or ongoing things in your life. Click to expand. Add journal entries when you want to capture state without a full pulse log.
Local nudges from yourself to yourself. Browser-only — nothing leaves this device, no SMS, no email, no push backend, no service worker. Reminders only fire while this tab is open. The default rhythm is morning, evening, and a weekly theme refresh — midday is off by default.
Every check-in is logged here even if the browser blocked the notification or the tab was closed. That way the surface is still useful without true background push.
Everything YOU stores lives in this browser — IndexedDB and localStorage on this device, nothing else. Browser storage can be evicted (private tabs, “clear site data”, full disks, device wipes). Export an encrypted copy you can stash on a USB stick, in a password manager attachment slot, or any place you trust. The file is unreadable without the password you set here.
Encrypted with AES-GCM. Password is run through PBKDF2 (250,000 iterations of SHA-256) before it becomes the key. The password is never stored — if you lose it, the backup is unreadable. You can reuse your app password or pick a different one — they don’t have to match.
Check that a backup file decrypts with its password and see what’s inside — without touching any current data. Use this to confirm a backup is good before you rely on it, or after moving it between devices. Nothing on this device is changed.
Pick an encrypted YOU backup. We’ll show you what’s in it first — you confirm before any current data is replaced. The restore is destructive: it replaces the local data set with whatever is in the file. Before pressing replace, we’ll offer to make a fresh backup of your current state.
Move the same encrypted file to a remote store so it can travel between your devices. This is portable encrypted backup, not live sync — nothing happens automatically. You press Upload or Download yourself, every time. The file uploaded is byte-for-byte the encrypted envelope; your data is never sent in the clear. Local export to a file remains the recommended path.
Create a fine-grained or classic GitHub personal access token with only the gist scope.
It is kept in this browser’s localStorage and sent only to api.github.com when you click.
Note: GitHub’s API allows cross-origin requests, so this works from GitHub Pages — but a token in
browser storage is only as safe as this device. Use a token you can revoke.
Experimental. Many WebDAV servers do not send CORS headers, so browser PUT/GET may be blocked —
if it fails with a network/CORS error, use local file export instead. URL must be HTTPS and point
at the full file path (e.g. https://dav.example.com/you/YOU-backup.json).
Average mood when you mention each thread.
Average mood on days you exercised vs didn't.
What you actually do, parsed from your morning plans.
Pick a seed — a hobby, a topic, a vibe. YOU builds a one-week theme around it that re-shapes morning prompts, evening reflection, pulse wording, and today’s problem framing. Falls back to a local pack if the AI backend is offline.
Local, Obsidian-style notes generated from your check-ins. Tags, [[backlinks]], observations, corrections, and ambiguous thoughts surface here. Add #tags and [[links]] in any diary text and they’re picked up automatically.
Local pattern detection over your memory notes. Suggested only — review and accept, archive, or convert into a Memory note. Mark a theme wrong and it stays out of future suggestions unless it returns strongly; refine one and the refined wording sticks. No claims are made permanent without your say-so. Pure offline heuristics; no GPT call happens automatically here.
Which of your recurring themes are louder or quieter lately — rising, steady, falling, newly emerging, or quiet this week. Built only from your own notes across recent weeks. Not a diagnosis, just a mirror. No GPT call.
Themes you marked wrong. They stay out of new suggestions unless they come back strongly with fresh evidence. Nothing is deleted — lift any of them back into the mix whenever you like.
A grounded summary of the week using your notes and the active theme. Local-only, deterministic, and reviewable.
A guided, Monday-anchored look back at your own week — theme, signals, accepted insights, open loops, check-ins, decisions, and what to carry forward. Built from your local data only. No GPT call happens on load.
Decisions you owe yourself. Create one from the review, from an open loop, or from scratch. Move it through open → chosen / parked → resolved.
What to take into next week: a focus question, a theme seed, a habit, a thread, or a risk to watch. Mark each carried, dropped, or done.
Every decision you've chosen or resolved, newest first — what you settled, when, and what you chose. A record of loops you actually closed.
A local, deterministic look across recent weeks: what keeps returning, what got resolved, what's still carried, and what's drifting. Built only from your own data — not a diagnosis, just a mirror. No GPT call.
Paste a tangled thought or open loop. YOU turns it into a clearer decision question, a couple of options, and a next action. Works offline with a deterministic fallback; the AI path is only used when you press the button and an endpoint is configured. Only the text below (plus the active theme title) is ever sent — never your history.
Future YOU modules. Schemas only — no external connectors, no account linking, no sensitive data collection. Each card describes what could exist later.
Gym visits, exercise notes, eating plan, sleep, wearables. Today this lives loosely in Morning/Evening. Future: structured log + optional wearable import.
Spending insight and budget posture. No bank linking yet — schema for manual notes and CSV import only.
Now lives on the Check-ins tab. Local browser nudges only — no SMS, no email, no push server, no service worker. The in-app reminder log keeps it useful even when the browser denies notifications.
Encrypted backup of the full YOU state — entries, themes, memory notes, insights, check-in settings/logs, profile. AES-GCM via WebCrypto, PBKDF2 from your chosen backup password. Local file is the recommended path; an opt-in manual remote target moves the same encrypted file between devices. Not live sync.
Local pattern detection over your notes — recurring themes, unresolved loops, self-corrections, weekly recaps. Reviewable, archivable, convertible into notes. Now lives on the Insights tab.
